There are three levels of the Usui Reiki practice before being eligible to become a Reiki Teacher. Each level entails you go through a series of Attunements to raise your vibration to open yourself to this healing energy, cleanse and balance specific chakras, and heighten your sensitivity & intuitive abilities.

Usui Reiki II Certification
At this level, you will learn how to increase your healing power, send distance Reiki, and work more deeply with emotional issues. You will learn to incorporate Reiki energy into your life on a whole new level - beyond your personal healing to the healing of humanity and our world.

Usui Reiki Master Certification
At this level, you will embrace a deep commitment to the Reiki practice. Many receive the Master attunement, along with the corresponding symbol, yet don't feel comfortable or practiced in properly attuning others — hence the distinction between Reiki Master and Reiki Teacher.
Becoming a Reiki Master is not the end of the journey; it is only the beginning of your own personal and spiritual development. A Reiki Master is not suddenly a better or wiser or more enlightened person than anyone else. Rather, hopefully, a person seeking to become a Reiki Master is already a kind, considerate and spiritually developed individual who is seeking to not only enhance their own life, but also the lives of others.
